Eleaf Lemo 2 owners, need advice

Hi
I was looking for compact/portable box mod (man has generally wears jeans or whatever with 4 pockets at least: for keys, wallet, phone and vape mod, no purse yet:() and so far I like Eleaf iStick Pico, but it can hold only 22 mm RBA, so I look around, including here, and so far I like Eleaf Limo 2, but it has issues with dry hits.

I don't have it on hand, so the rest are only assumptions based on pictures. Need help to verify my thinking.
It has juice channels similar to Kanger Subtank RDA V1 (vertical channels on the RDA deck), which I have and I love it for low wattage vaping - I used Dremel to increase those channels and no more dry hits at all.
Is it possible to do the same for Lemo 2?

Please advise.

Appreciate in advance for anything.

Yes, I dremeled all my Lemo 2s.
Not exactly like the STM V1 RBA tho.
Dremel the chimney where it lines up with the base channels.

You don't have, by some chance, a picture or link where I can see how it is done?
Since you have many of them, would you recommend me go this way, or get newer mod like Pico 25 to have more atomizer choices?
How is the flavor and clouds?

Thanks.

I still have a couple of these tanks that I use for one specific flavor. If you dremel the chimney and use a short wick (rayon) that doesnt block up the juice channels, it never dry hits. For the 22mm pico try the wotofo serpent mini or ud goblin mini v3.

I do split wick (Japanese cotton) as well with Subtanks so juice holes are open. Dry hits only if I accidentally increase wattage above 25 watt.

For the 22mm pico try the wotofo serpent mini or ud goblin mini v3.

Checked Serpent and Goblin, Goblin leaks, Serpent sounds good.
Thanks

I think you can get it without the tank. With the tank it's a "kit". But a lot of the time the kit is only a little more expensive than the mod alone that it makes sense to get the kit.

If you're thinking of the Serpent, I have both the 22mm & the 25mm, I highly recommend the 25mm, imho it's much tastier & more capacity 2ml versus 3.5ml.

Here's a photo I found:

I dremeled mine a little deeper tho. (just the chimney)
Flavor and clouds are good.
To be honest, you would probably be better off going with a 25mm mod, giving more options for tanks.
The Lemo 2 is a couple years old now. (old tech), but can be found cheap$ nowadays.

This is exactly what I was thinking about. Sepent 25 on Pico 25, sounds cool.
I still like old bottom feed tanks, much easier to make a new coil without emptying the tank.
I just had over priming accident with Big Baby TFV8, leaking from air holes, so I tried emptying from the top, no way, and my juice is 50/50, what if it was 80VG/20PG... So I had to waste some juice.
That is why I love my Subtank Plus, 7 ml of love and I can do what ever with even full tank (about to reorder some parts while they still exist - can not find Plus glass anywhere).

Thanks a lot to all of you.

I guess search will continue as I found many discouraging comments about glass breakage (Serpent 25 mm) and leak problems. One has to DIY a Teflon tape around upper glass connection, because there is no o-ring (some owners already reported breaking 5 glass tubes).

Any suggestions?
I guess I will start a new thread.

I haven't had any issues at all. Haven't broke any tanks either & leaking in this case is the wicking. I always use the burp method after filling. There are orings on the top & bottom of the glass.

It's the Serpent Mini 25mm. Is it the same atty you're talking about?

The ijoy Exo rta is nice too, 2ml & 6ml tanks, single & dual coil deck.

You are right, I checked a few youtube up and close videos and I saw those o-rings. Wicking is easy as well once you understand a concept of sticking cotton into the channels.
Problem is to find authentic one. Wotofo site is out of stock and many more.
Only Chinese sites have them, but I am not sure, which are trustworthy for this matter.
Fastech is the place where I found broken glass issues, so what they sell there might be a clone, even-thou it is labeled Authentic.
Gearbest is the only another one, can I trust them on this matter? I heard plenty horrible stories about them.

Can you suggest anything?

Edit. This is all about Serpent 25 mm, you asked.

Edit 2.
This is the user posted picture on Fastech, you can see clearly upper o-ring, but I don't see the lower one, is it very small or it is missing, what do you think?

It's not missing, it there but when assembled it doesn't show. I'll look around for you if any USA based sites have it in stock. But I've never had an issue with fasttech, 3fvape if they say it's authentic, it is. Just pay the extra $1 or so for epacket shipping & make sure it's in stock & you won't have a problem. Let me goggle around & I'll get back to you

Yes, that is why I was asking. I am waiting on one large Fastech order held due to restocking, takes forever. I don't mind paying more to have it faster. I was ready to buy from Wotofo directly, but they are out of stock as well.

Thanks for helping, Serpent 25 mm seems to be perfect for me.

I can't find it anywhere in the us. But I think it's safe enough to buy at Fasttech, they state will ship next day. Or check out the ijoy Exo rta.

There is another thing bothering me, I looked around for parts and could not find any, only replacement glass is sold at Fastech.
I usually have at least one more deck for each tank I owe, so if I need to put a new coil fast, I can just switch decks.
I know Serpent has single and dual, but I prefer more of them, just in case (my family is against any type of inhalers with tobacco, LOL) so sometimes I am using my backup ready decks, and then later changing wicks/coils on all of them at once.
Otherwise I would order it already.

Life is difficult.

Then the only thing I can think of is the Steamcrave Aromamizer Supreme V2, I can't think of any other atty that sells additional decks. I got mine at 3avape for $26 once logged in the price drops & use the coupon code they have on their homepage.
I'm using the postless deck from the original Supreme v1. As a single coil built on the slant, there's a vid on YouTube from one of the Steamcrave testers. From Riccis Tablet - Aromamizer v2 build & rant.
The V2 comes with a velocity deck & decks from the Aromamizer Supreme fits the V2. Great quality, built to last & they sell spare decks on their website.

I checked this option and it looks promising, and it is well build.
Question. How is the vape quality, flavor compare to other devices you have, somewhere in the middle or better. Would you prefer this RDTA over other RTAs you have (using same types of coils)?

I think this is it, thinking....

Edit. I am not a dripper person, so next question might sound dumb - once you filled with juice, can you put it upside down or it will leak out. I am looking for a literally pocket device?

I don't know about upside down but yes you can close the juice flow control (flip upside down first to drain up juice from coils) then it won't leak. It's called a rdta but it's not a dripper. The flavor is very good & on par with other rta's that I have. You can join the Facebook Steamcrave Fan group where all the Steamcrave die hard lovers are. Friendly & very helpful people.

The Obs Engine Nano rta is a great leak proof option as it is top airflow but I don't think you can buy extra decks for it as far as I know.

I am public security obsessed person, don't have any social media things like Facebook, Twitter or Instagram.

I checked OBS already and something was very wrong with that tank, so I discarded as an option.

What I meant by flipping upside down is the putting full tank in different awkward positions and check for leaks.

Thanks for help.
I just purchased Steamcrave and Serpent and bunch of other related and not things around $500 spent, oof.
Wish me luck in my upgrade from VW to TC (I don't think I will be utilizing TC right away).

Now waiting for juice from Heartland vapes. If I like it - I would be extremely happy, if not, I would have to DIY juice myself, I hope not.

Thanks again for all of you.

Until now I had only 2 low wattage Sigelei (still working like a Swiss watch) and 2xSubtank Plus and 1xSubtank Mini. A few days ago I got G-Priv kit. Now I ordered a lot of latest tanks - TFV12 (3), Horizon Duo (1), Sense Blazer (1), and those 2 we were talking about, plus extra RBA decks for all of them and considerable amount of coil heads, and SS wire and some prebuilt SS coils (till I master making Clapton myself).
In the other words, I was almost naked before, and now I have even a tuxedo (Smoant Battlestar and G-Priv).

Heartland vapes selling juice in bulk, so it comes to around $1.5 for 15 ml (for comparison), which is very, very cheap.
I was thinking about DIY juice, but I don't have a time nor space for this, and, very important, my family against:deadhorse: any of this stuff (I am over 50, LOL). So, it is more or less easy to hide ready product, than all DIY tools and smell.:(

I'm sorry, maybe I'm old fashioned, maybe I'm just an asshole, but if I'm paying the bills, I'm gonna vape and that's the end of it. I switched from cigarettes to vaping without a problem but I'm almost 64 years old and it's my money that keeps a roof and food so I'll vape if I damn well please.

Now, I don't spend anything like $500 in one chunk on it. I buy a little bit each month... $30- $40. The most I spent at one time was about $130 for a Hohmwrecker G2, an rda, and batteries w/charger. Nothing last month, but I bought the Coilmaster V3 diy kit this month. Next month it'll be time for some new flavorings and some vg/pg for mixing. I also hope to get an rta if I can find what I want at a decent price.

Anyway, that's how I feel about it. I may be in the minority. I don't know.

I told my family that I just quit, I think my wife knows that I vape, but she is OK as long as nothing smells in our place and nothing is visible. During smoking it was like this - divorce or quit, so I switched to vaping around 3 years ago or so.
And that when I bought all my equipment, including wires and cotton. I do twisted coils, every time I change cotton I clean my coils with electrical tooth brush and a bit of soft toothpaste, no dry burning requires after this. Typically my coils last at least 3-5 months, before flavor changes. So, I don't think I used half of my Kanthal A1 28 roll yet and I bought at the same time another roll of 26 AWG, which I did not touch yet. For cotton I use Japanese Organic 200 squares per package and I have 2 of them. Right now I used about 50% of the first packet.

If I like Heartland vape juices, I am planning to purchase them in bulk, store in underground garage. I am planning to get at least 1 year supply or so.

So, I did not buy anything for the past almost 3 years, just a few o-rings, that was it. Well, I am not talking about juice, obviously.
Right now I am seriously upgrading, once everything is purchased, I will be like in submarine again for another prolong period of time, until something cardinally new appears, I guess.

Each of us has different approach to sustain our habits, this is it.

Hey
Where you get your juice for that cheap? I hope not from China? And not by barrels?

Cheap juice comes in large quantities

RainBarrels_D_04-27.jpg
Sort juice on a website by price and apply coupon code. OMVapors has a 60% off going right now and their juice is amazing.

I just finished checking Sales subforum, ordered already from Budget Vapes. Actually I found additional coupon XRVBV2017 10% off (facebook) plus all orders above $50 USD ship for free via USPS.
I like my juice 12 mg 50/50 - I just got used to this, I know 12 mg is considered a lot, but not for me. And 12 mg is not easy to find for cheap.

That (provided by you) huge list will take time to digest, well, now I have a reason get glued to my PC, LOL

Thanks a lot.
