has anyone had any good experience, successful builds with this head.. I have tried a dual 12 wrap 2mm ID 28g SS316L wicks folded down channels, a dual 4 wrap 2.5mm ID 26g ss316L vertical wick divided and laid into channels, and a dual 10 wrap 2mm ID 28g kanthal with the wick tucked under... all with only moderate at best success..

I won one of these tanks and all I can say is I'm glad I didn't pay for it. Not impressed at all.

I liked the concept, shot glass tank, so no leaking, with top side fill, so less messy then the cubis.. premade coils are crap with airflow design and the rba deck has me scratching my head..it lays out better then a vertical coil (premade) my latest attempt is 8 wrap 2mm ID 26g 316L with the wick ends folded back under and carry on down opposite channel.. getting better flavor and vapor.. just posted here hoping someone else has had better luck.. my next attempt will probably be a 3 wrap 3mm id that I will scrunch down to an oblong to fit on the deck vertical... *shrug*

my final installment on this subject..
the provided rba head is a total piece of junk. however..
I had great success rebuilding the provided premade coil.
I did a 6 wrap 4mm ID 28g kanthal coming in at 1.58 ohms packed loosely in cotton running at 20w I get a satisfying taste and vapor and can chain vape without a dry hit

Actually Daniel at Djlsb labs has a great tutorial on building on this tank.

checked it out, is one method I tried already, still hold my position, the rba deck for this is total junk.. but you can rebuild the premade coils easily and effectively

If you already own the cubis I would recommend getting the notchcoil heads for the cubis.. They really breath new life into the cubis... Super good flavor and alot of vapor.. it really adds alot more air flow as well. they also last longer.. given i only use it with my pico when out on the town and I want leak proof and stealth. But really the notchcoil for the cubis takes it to a whole another level. the orginal/other coils suck.. Sorry i know nothing about the eleaf but thought i would share about the notchcoil

nope, looked at it and liked everything except the sloppy fill method, that is why I went with the Lyche, just wish they thought through that rba head design a bit better is all

it really isn't that sloppy.. only becomes sloppy if you over fill it or take the top completely off.. you don't have to take the top completely off.. you just need to unscrew it and lean it to the side of the shot glass and fill then screw it back on. sometimes a little juice will push out when screwing but not much.. it isn't the best tank in world and I i never use it when i am home for i have much better tanks.. but a night out on the town it is perfect for its small size and leak proof design..

think you missed my point, the Lyche is the exact same basic design as the Cubis, with one glaring difference the Lyche has side fill so you do not even have to remove the top.. that is why I choose it over the cubis.. oh yeah, and it comes with a notch coil head.

I was just saying that the cubis was worth it for the notchcoil alone with its faults.. but if the lyche comes with a notchcoil then the lyche sounds like a better atty..

that is the way I saw it yes.. my only grief with it is the design of the rba head.. piss poor imho.. mind you not the worst I have ever seen, but definitely in the top three bantha poodoo category
