Recent studies suggest that electronic cigarettes can help people quit their nicotine habit. In fact, if you want to quit, e-cigarettes may work even better than nicotine patches, gum and plain willpower. You’re 60% more like to succeed if you use them. Smoking is a very difficult habit to beat, but this is definitely one strong step in the right direction.

Today electronic cigarettes are the hottest thing in this new technological age. These days, e-cigarette are considered as a great alternative for anyone having trouble kicking the tobacco cigarette habit, allowing them to keep smoking without any side effects. Here are the top 10 reasons to smoke electronic cigarettes.

That's really great stuff. E-cigarettes are a healthy alternative to smoking. Vaping is far more safe than smoking.

I bought my first eCig because my wife asked me to quit. On the 5th day of vaping, I lit up a smoke, looked at it, and said, "This tastes like shit. I like vaping better."... And that was my last cigarette. I have been a non smoker for 15 months now.

I smoked for 30 years. I never tried to quit. Not once. I was afraid to try to quit because I didn't want to be one of those people that tried to quit and failed. I got married. My wife asked me to quit, and picked out a quit date. The night before, I stopped in a vape store and bought a starter kit. 5 days later, I stopped smoking.

When people ask if it was hard to quit smoking, I tell them, "I don't know. I never quit smoking. I started vaping and I just stopped smoking. I'm a stopper, not a quitter.". No one understands...

I got one of my best friends and 3 of my coworkers to stop smoking. My fried was a 2 PAD smoker for over 30 years. We had to take him up to 24 mg nic to get him over the hump, but now he is on 12 mg. It freaking works!

Just set two of my friends up with RDAs. They were two and three pack a day smokers. One had used a tank before to no success. Both stopped smoking within a week.

I went from about 2 and 1/2 packs a day, to vaping, same afternoon I bought my first vaporiser...simply a change in the source of nicotine, less the tars...

I love to collect devices as my budget allows. I just watched a guy smoke a cig, & didn't bother me at all. The hype is Non Smokers are offended by Cigarette smoke. I think that is Bull Shit. That is my take anyway.

E-cigarettes contain many of the same toxins as regular cigarettes but they may have smaller amounts. Some brands also have much less nicotine than regular cigarettes or no nicotine at all. This makes them a better choice for people who already smoke or use other tobacco products. Just like me, who didn’t have to quit smoking, because I started vaping. It was a great transition for me. Everything just got better!

Bullshit. Most of the chemicals in e-juice which is used by e-cigarettes, mods consists of two main chemicals. Those two chemicals are polypropylene glycol and vegetable glycerin. The rest is whatever flavorings are used, if used and nicotine if used.

ETA: Regarding the laundry list of of the "oh so dangerous" chemicals found in flavorings. One can choose to not use particular flavors, or get vendors to use flavorings that do not contain the "scary" chemicals.

In fact a consumer group has helped ensure such flavorings exist. This same group also mandated vendors include warnings of nicotine in juices, child proof caps long before the government got involved.

The vaping market and industry regulated itself. It was done because we as consumers, makers knew all too well there would be such outcries

Standard tobacco cigarettes contain 599 additives and over 7,000 chemicals. See here & there along with a simple search.

And if the government hadn't got involved; Tobacco would still be in the business of advertising death on television, marketing it to minors, not gotten itself "cleaned up".

Some brands also have much less nicotine than regular cigarettes or no nicotine at all.

Correct and factual. What is neglected is the fact one may choose how much nicotine to use, or not use in e-juice. For example I use 18 milligrams per 1 milliliter of nicotine in my e-juice. Others use 3, or 6 mg per ml in their juices. I know some who even vape 0 nicotine. It is a choice left for each user.
Just like me, who didn’t have to quit smoking, because I started vaping. It was a great transition for me. Everything just got better!

I no longer smoke, at all. I only vape. I come to vaping after having smoke 35+ yrs, sometimes a pack to pack and a half a day. I also used other forms of tobacco for roughly 40 yrs of tobacco use.

I could appreciate having a rub of snuff now and again. But I no longer use tobacco of any kind. I do use and enjoy nicotine. Nicotine can be found in tomatoes, grass, eggplant, and isn't limited to only coming from tobacco. Hell, it can even be synthesized now.

Point though, I no longer smoke. I only vape. If anyone smokes their vape, they're doing it wrong. :)
