Paramount continued to make big moves in March, though Paramount+ subscribers likely won't see the impact until later this year. In addition to winning the bid to buy Warner Bros, the company also acquired Tyler Perry's stake in BET+, and is folding it into its own streaming services this summer when it shuts down. Paramount boss David Ellison has said a similar thing will happen to HBO Max if that deal goes through. So you've got that to look forward to.
As for what's new to stream on Paramount+ this month, there's quite a bit to look forward to. There's a massive wave of new movies coming to the platform on April 1 and new episodes of the popular Yellowstone spin-off, Marshalls, airing weekly. For live events, there's also The Masters tournament as well as UFC 327.
New to Paramount+ in April 2026
Note: Anything labeled as a CBS Original will also be airing on CBS or on demand the day after it releases on CBS.

Highlight: Arrival (2016)
If you're in the mood for a really good sci-fi movie, Arrival is a great pick. With Dennis Villeneuve directing, the film has a lot of the same elements that made his Dune movies so good. Here's a quick snippet of what we thought in our review:
"The film features shades of Interstellar, Contact and Close Encounters of the Third Kind, but never feels derivative. Rather it’s smart, sophisticated sci-fi that that asks BIG questions, and does a pretty good job of answering them."
