Evic vtc mini with ego one mega problems

Well i got the evic vtc mini with the ego one combo. I was using a subtank with rba deck and nickel build. I have narrowed my issue to the tank. I cannot seem to get a decent vape out of the stock heads. I am thinking it is one of two things either wicking or too large diameter coil. I get vapor but it is light. It hits protection but the vape is not nearly upto temp. Is this a tabk or device or both? I have upgraded to the latest firmware also. Anyone have any ideas to try??

Those ego one mega coils are awful! The clr heads are slightly better if you can get those. I gave up on that tank long ago!

I kept getting the temp protection warning with the TI coils on the Ego One Mega. The issue I had was the coil was not tightened down all the way. Still, after a getting it finally working, I just went to the Ni200 coils and it vaped much better. Ended up just putting a Crown tank on my VTC Mini.

You'll need the CLR heads to use the eGo One. The normal CL heads simply do not wick. The CLR heads are rebuildable and rewickable. I also bought the kit and hated the tank with the included coils. If you get the 1 ohm CLR heads the airflow will be restricted by the bottom pin on the head. You can switch the pin with the Ni & Ti coil pins to up the airflow The .5 ohm CLR kanthal and Ti heads have great airflow.

Honestly, between my eGo One and Crown tanks I vape the eGo more. It just comes with unusable coil heads. If you like to build coils, it will vape beautifully in temp mode with a 26 gauge ss coil on the VTC Mini.

I use 316L. I've used 24, 26, 28 & twisted 30 gauge SS wire. So far 26 gauge has been my favorite for every tank.
