I'm really cosidering this little thing
now firmware upgradeable, dual circuit protection and an additional 20 watts more than the original

I hear anything that involves Evic Vt is a work horse

Though I'm partial to the removable batt Mini version, successor to our VTCs, and the slew of new colors (may get one actually)... I'm glad, and impressed, with what they've done for this new VTwo.

They've brought it in line with the rest of the JTech stable... AND... resurrected the VT's sporty livery. The sexiest paint jobs in vaping. :p

lol I think it looks elegant
race stripes are cool too though! :shades:

Well, I haven't bought a fixed-battery mod in about a year. Probably never will again.

While the VTwo now matches the feature set of the rest of our JoyeTech/Wismec/Eleaf mods... the only reason I would buy one is for that sports car paint job. :p

But they have gone pretty nuts with the variety of solid colors for the newest ones. :)

yea I kind of felt like that after having my istick50 crap out on me but I have high hopes for this thing
I was leaning towards the mini 75w as well but I'm a little concerned about hitting those wattages on a single 18650

Up to 60w per cell is fine for our 20A CDR 18650s, if you want to run hotter, move to a dual battery mod... or shop some of the few higher CDR batteries.

Factory installed LiPo packs however... are selected to handle the max wattage of the mod.
No issues there.

honestly I've never gone passed 80w
I typically stay around the 40-50w range but just for the sake of having that much power
damn it! It's so frustrating choosing new mods

Yeah, there are so many choices right now ... and at least for me ... so little money to spend! I want the VTwo Mini and the eGrip2 ... they are both pretty awesome looking. I think my original VTC Mini is on it's last legs ... it has served me well though for about 9 months though, so I guess I can't complain. :)

tell me about it

now I'm considering the 75w for the sole purpose of being able to swap batteries
could mean a longer life for the little fella, I like the thought of that

Do you mean the vtc mini 2? My original vtc mini has been awesome, i believe he only difference between the new version is clock mode and a few color choices. My only complaint is battery life-but it is what you get on a single 18650 mod. Honestly with its size-i feel it STILL competes well with the new small mods such as the pico rather well.

Yes, I hear it has a newer chip in it as well. Could be wrong though.
What's your normal battery life and what wattages are you vaping on?
I actually was looking into the pico as well, I like the small design

I'm guessing you meant the evic VTwo mini, right? not sure if it's the same unit

I tend to stay around 40-50 watts and vape maybe 10 ML's a day, if it can give me close to a days worth it'd be gold!!

geez $20?! that's a steal

thanks for making my decision that much harder Huckle :p

On the Pico (or VTC/VTwoMini)? Not a chance.
Not at that wattage on a single 18650.

If you mean the original VT or the VTwo, with their 5000 mAh LiPos... then yeah maybe.

lol I feel like I'm on a rollercoaster, its a give or take for all 3
I was talking about the VTwo Mini btw
the VTwo Mini can swap batteries and comes with dual circuit protector
the VTwo 80w has more juice in the tank, no pun* lol
and the Pico is the more compact and portable of the three and can swap batteries as well

all ranging about the same in power, this is an interesting comparison for sure :vino:

It is.

I have a dozen JoyeTech mods now so I'm a bit biased (sorry, no VTs though).
But I think they've done an honest job coming back from the iStick debacles and any of the current offerings present a feature set that makes it a good value.

What do you want for ~$30? :)

Yeah, the VTC Mini is a fantastic little mod for the money. Unfortunately I've had to retire mine, while it still works, the 510 connector is getting "wobbly". The chip may get transplanted into something new at some point.

BTW ... It is officially called the eVic VTwo Mini now in the new version and the original VTC is the eVic VTwo. Not sure why they decided to rename it, but they did. Here's the press release ... http://www.joyetech.com/news/evic-vtwo-evic-vtwo-mini-launching-news/

My guess... because bringing the VT up to the current feature level was too great an update to not differentiate the name.

And "VTwo" was just too clever to not use. :p

and the original VTC is the eVic VTwo.

Might as well spank you too while I'm at it...

The "C" stands for "changeable battery".
It should stand for "compact"... but it doesn't. No shit.

So the 18650 "portrait" screen mod is the "eVic VTC Mini" (doesn't need "Mini" either).

And the original LiPo mod is just "eVic VT"... not VTC. ;)

:D

(unless the original actually has a "C" (never seen that) in which case... oops. :p )
(it's late... I'm being goofy)

You sir, are absolutely correct. That extra "C" was a combination of lack of coffee, hurrying to post before work, and just really used to typing VTC not VT. :(

As for whether or not "Mini" is necessary, it is officially listed on the Joyetech website as "eVic VTC Mini" or "eVic-VTC Mini" so I believe in the spirit of correctness that the word "Mini" is actually required. :p

Thank you for your input!

I'd agree that Mini is appropriate or acceptable, because as you say... it's in the ad copy and on the labeling. I just feel the size and "changeable battery" addition to the name make it... unneeded. "VTC" after all.

In context... there's been no reason to write out "VTC Mini", it's understood. Or should be. What with there being no "non-Mini" VTC.

We're gonna need it going forward however... with both being VTwos. :p

That works.
I'm finally getting in a couple of high(er)-end mods tomorrow... I shall call one Dana. :p
(and DanaTwo ? o_O )

And I see our long, long VTC thread over on ECF is titled "eVic-VT mini".
That's just wrong.

:D
