Just got my goon RDA in the mail today while I was at work and literally as soon as I made it home had my hellboy ripped off my sig150 and the goon hooked up. Now unfortunately I'm sitting at my kitchen table trying to figure out a decent coil to put in this damn monstrosity of an RDA lol HELP! Thoughts, opinions, experiences?

Can never go wrong with claptons. I've come to love twisted kanthal recently though.

Might try, if you have some 24g kanthal, some 24gx3 kanthal twisted. Will make some REALLY good vapour and flavour in that thing

I've got coils built from 4mm to 2.5mm for 22, 24, 26, and 28g that I'm running for a few minutes each before attempting the next before I go into the fun stuff. Getting used to the bridge clamp idea first before using the fun wires I've made

I'm definitely a goon but no expert for sure. 22g/3mm 10 wraps .3ohms airflow wide open and I can no longer see my kitchen plus awesome flavor. This RDA likes that thicker wire. Now its time to experiment with the Clapton's, twisteds, and parallels lol

I've got some 26/32 Clapton's I made yesterday and a length of 24/twisted 32 clapton as well. Thinking I might break those since the 24 gave me an issue in the hellboy

This, too - but that's also when I work, so there's not a ton of time for building, hence the pre-fab wire...

Ya I tried making the wire once and it's a bitch. I'd start to have it wrapping perfectly for a few inches then it would break or get messed up and I had to stop for my sanity. I'm definitely gonna try again and I really want to do it myself rather than get the prefabbed wire.

I gotta get my beauty sleep, damn it! Ok, I might be odd, but... My preferred build for the Goon is 26/30 316L fused clapton single coil. 3mm, 8wraps. I run it in TC @ 85w & 530F
