FA Apple waste of money?

I only have a hand-full of flavors. I got FA Apple mainly to mix with hazelnut. However, trying it solo, I could barely taste anything. Sweetness, but no apple. Not even slightly. Tried using Forrest Fruit at 1% (I think) to make it pop. Could taste more Fruit than Apple!

I've seen FA Apple used in small percentages to complement complex recipes. However, I'm still messing with recipes with 2-3 ingredients.

Will this flavor be sitting next to my TFA Raspberry and Hickory, in isolation?

I honestly got nothing from my bottle until I was mixing it with other stuff and by that time it was no more.
I need to reorder flavors one day but silly things like food, rent and money for shit tickets over ride extra flavoring orders at this time.

I hear the fruits like raspberry and apple totally shine with FA amber and TFA AP.
I think HIC is one of resident FA apple mix masters and could point you in the correct % with apple and amber to get it nice and usable.

No, not a waste of money! http://vapingunderground.com/threads/my-notes-on-flavourart-apple.2347/

If you're mixing with strong flavors (like Hazelnut or Forest Fruit!), FA Fuji is the one to use.

If you want excellent plain apple, using mostly Apple with a little bit of Fuji is my ideal - gives you the sweetness of Apple with the BAM of Fuji.

If you want cider, start with FA Apple and some Amber: http://vapingunderground.com/threads/my-notes-on-flavourart-liquid-amber.8902/ That's also good with a little Fuji added. Or you could go all-out and make Sweet Spiced Cider.

And then there are the pies....

Oh - I forgot one major use of FA Apple: to make fruit juice blends! (Apple does this perfectly, Fuji doesn't) Just like with real fruit juices, apple juice is often used to sweeten and mellow wilder fruit flavors. In fact, it's often the main ingredient; look at ingredient lists on real blended juice. So a real berry blend juice might have half apple, half a blend of the berries that make the primary flavor. A vape version using FA Apple and dark berries could probably have even more than half as apple - because the berry flavors are so very strong.

I found the FA Apple weak also, but TFA Apple is even worse.
Fuji is way better...
I've also found, (like HIC), that Apple can be easily overpowered, even Fuji sometimes.

Thanks for all the info, guys. I guess I won't tie it up in the basement and feed it dog food after all.

Will probably bust it out once I get some Amber, to do something inspired by Shotgun Cider (Cyber). Fuji's on the way in the meantime.

You could even give the raspberry a fair shake again and the hickory lets say a 3-5% apple to 1-3% raspberry with a .25% or less hickory and some cinnamon for a total fall blend.

Yeah, maybe the apple can bring out the raspberry, or vice versa.

But the hickory.. Wasn't hickory smoke like I expected. This is straight up barbecue sauce lmao.

Then use one drop per 30 ml allow it to mellow.
Sweet smokey sauce like with heavy apple and a kiss of raspberry would be rock on..
if you want liquid smoke type ashy flavor black fire is your ticket... trust me more than three drops will render anything um vapable.

Wllmc has roast chicken... BBQ kfc flavored joose.

Ok not going to lie that made me puke a little bit in my mouth. But my next order some time soon I will be loading on apple fuji apple amber and ap with some other stuff, just something about apples, cinnamon with a hint of smoke reminds me of a few orchard trips we did in the fall, for some reason I always notice a smoke scent in the fall and could be from the woodstoves in the area.
