So, been thinking about this quite a bit lately. All the Chinese producers, AW, Efest, IMREN and others, are basically using LG, Samsung or Panasonic it seems. So really they are the fakes. So if we buy an LG HE2, do we really need to be worried about fakes? LG HE2 (or the whole LG line) are already the low cost item. If I am gonna fake it, I would fake an Efest that takes an LG HE2 and marks it up. More margin there to fake those. We never seem to worry that much about Efest fakes, though the incentive is higher for a faker to mimic those, even with a legit LG HE2 cell, but we worry very much that the LG HE2 itself might be fake. This seems to be a contradiction. Sorry for the ramble.
