Fallout: 76’s has had a tough run since it was released in late 2018. It reviewed poorly, launched with plenty of bizarre bugs (no, not your typical Rad Roaches), and endured a couple of PR nightmares right out of the gate, including leaking customer information via their support site and infamously shipping low-quality imitations of their promised collectors editions. Even when they weren’t actively messing up, they were still under fire for the overall poor quality of the 76 experience. Over the past year, Bethesda has tried to make good in the eyes of their player base, adding free updates to the game including Nuclear Winter - their 52-player battle royale mode. Their biggest free update to the game, titled Wastelanders, which will see the addition of NPC characters and more, was recently delayed until 2020, again upsetting many of 76’s remaining fans.
