While 2 aren't new inventions, I think 1 might be. I named it the Hanneman coil. It's the Metal version of a Clapton. 24ga core wire wrapped in twisted .8 Kanthal flat wire. Shredded my fingertips making it.

Thanks. By the way, I'm curious if anyone gets the reason behind naming that 3rd one the Hanneman coil.

I'm still an amateur, but thanks Remark. Hopefully I'll get the hang of the really complicated builds before long.

I haven't tried braiding wire yet. Well, except for one disastrous time. But here soon I think I'm going to delve into that realm and see what sort of craziness I can make happen.

If I can find a more soft-human-flesh-friendly way of making the wire, I'm going to wrap another with a smaller I.D. and set it up as a dragon vertical build.

Hi Bob,
You sure are making some awesome looking coils. I check my mailbox everyday.
Still hoping.

I can vouch that some braided nichrome is a fun cool to make and very rewarding

Wish I could, but I need a "Helping Hands" and more patience, to even do a Sub Tank RTA coil at the moment. I have neither of the first 2, and the 3rd is in a box ... waiting ;)
Nice work, and practice makes perfect :D (At least people tell me that...)
