Just wanted to drop in and show everyone my first box mod build. I've always been pretty good with electronics and I decided to take my hand and soldering up a chip, everyones got a DNA30, so I went for an SX350
SX350 Chip (Upgraded to 50 Watts)
Fat Dadday Vapes Spring Loaded 510 with 22mm Flush Washer
20AWG Wiring (except the 22awg that comes off the battery and the 510 ground is 18G copper stranded)
2x 1200mah 25C LiPos Wired in Parallel (Wired it up outside the case and used Deans connectors, but they wouldn't fit inside, directly wired, but temporary until I find a new solution)
1590ABK Hammond Box
Shapeways Bapgood 1590A faceplate, Screen and charger only
Tactile switch from a CHANA mod that fried on day 3.
I like how it turned out. The shapeways face plate was a little thicker than I thought and doesn't fit perfect, but I also didnt expect it to, The pre-wired charger from yihi and the way the BAP faceplace mounts, points the wires down at the bottom of the case, kind of hard to close it without smashing everything. . . I finagled them around to work but it would be smart to re-solder the wire the other way through the chip,or bap could flip the usb cutout around. Can't wait to build more...
