I actually use an iOS app called coil builder and payed the few dollars to unlock the pro features. It's a pretty good app and does pretty much any coil build. Very user friendly and pretty much you can pick exactly what your using, how many wires, and if you use inches vs mm it converts it for you. Then you can save your build if you like.

I am sure it is exceptionally nice.
I am not knocking it.
Trouble being I have no I-phone nor any smart phone. I have a very cheap "emergency" Trac-Phone afforded by the "you so poor we gives you a phone in case you about to die, you can call EMS and let them help" fund. *chuckling* It only can send and get basic text. Sure it has a *ahem* web browser, um, if you could call it that and it acts as a phone. There's nothing special to the unit.
I kind of strive to avoid this "new wave" of "magical" phones too. All the various "fake news", fear porn has jaded me against them. Rather try to remain more human than robotic for at least a little longer. Yeah, I know it is catching up and will be here soon. That is soon enough for me and possibly too soon. Trying to figure out where they'll install a data jack in my body, coming up with a few kinky ideas I'll not divulge.
If I could find something what ran under Linux natively, that would be nice. Might wind up having to force myself into learning to code C in order to create such a tool, yet. Busy this time of year though, mowing season and soon will be "felling" season as in felling firewood. Doing nice this morning. I pulled out a Velocity V2 clone, slapped on a dual Clapton build that hits net 0.50 +/- 0.05 (R) oHm. Might like to try going lower but not too greatly concerned over it, can enjoy life for being what it is.
In short, thanks for the info on that. Doing alright though.
