I made a 10ml of this mix today and it's not bad. I believe it's going to need some steep time. While waiting I would just like to hear some thoughts just by looking at what I've got.

Banana Cream (TPA) 10%
Graham Clear (TPA) 3%
Vanilla Bean Ice Cream (TPA) 3%
Vanilla Swirl (TPA) 2%
Vanilla Custard (CAP) 4%
Strawberry Sweet (CAP) 7%
Strawberry Ripe (TFA) 3%
Strawberry (INW) 1%
EM (TFA) 1%
Game over Custard (Mama J's) 1%

I love trying new recipes but it's a pain waiting to see how some will eventually turn out. I have made 2 samples at times to let one steep but it seems every time I make two samples the mix is so bad i regret wasting the ingredients on making the one that's steeping. This one strawberry is forefront with a little banana and some body but the creaminess and vanilla tone is either going to take a while or not pan out. I'm sure some steep time will help.

I'd say you'll be able to get more useful feedback if you taste it and describe how tastes to you personally.

Just looking at the ingredients I can only speak to my own preferences, and my first reaction is that it seems like a heck of a lot of flavoring--even for my tastes, which are pretty greedy, as fara s I can tell. I also don't see the need for EM in a mix with these flavors, since they are all pretty smooth & sweet to begin with, and to whatever extent they may not be (I've never used INW Strawberry), it seems to me you have a more than large enough proportion of custards and smooth vanillas to smooth it over.

mamaj's gameover custard is so deliciously complex already, i would be tempted to use it in place of the other three rich vanilla flavors. It's a proprietary flavor, but I wouldn't be surprised if it contains all of them already, blended to perfection.

Agreed. I thought it could have been a little overboard but I have used other peoples recipes that had just as many different creams and vanillas. I am guilty of throwing in the game over custard just because I wanted to use it in a recipe and have only tried it stand alone so far. I guess I'll see how it turns out. Thanks for the response.

Hey thanks wllmc. I'll be mixing that up tomorrow. I haven't used inawera very much and wasn't sure and figured I'd try it. Game over is quite the treat.

Banana Cream (TPA) 7%
Graham Clear (TPA) 3%
Vanilla Swirl (TPA) 4-5% (I'm not a fan of vanilla bean ice cream)
Vanilla Custard (CAP) 5% (6% IF V2 for my preference)
Strawberry Sweet (CAP) 2%
Strawberry Ripe (TFA) 4%
Strawberry (INW) .5%

GoC (Mama J's) I have no idea % cause I've never used it but i'd listen to @wllmc on that one and go at 6% leaving out the cap custard all together and dropping in 1 drop per 10ml of Vanllia Tahiti FA cause this recipe is lacking the Italian touch. That's for you @HeadInClouds thanks for showing me the way.
