A strange thing happened today, me and the wife went to the local B&M and decided we were going to try our first premium juices (We have always used the house brand before). They let you try out all of their flavors free using zero nic juice. Yes we intend to DIY EJuice but we have to start somewhere and this isn't about that :).

I had my Nemi clone with my Trident V2 clone sitting on it loaded with peaches n cream/dual coil running .8 ohms, the wife has her Vamo V2 with a Quasar clone single coil running at 1.7 ohms 8.5 watts. The Salesman tossed some cotton up on the counter and said lets get started so I took the cotton that was in my rda and tossed it and only loaded one coil with small amounts of wick in order to keep reloading it with new cotton on different juices. I asked him if I could borrow his cutters and I removed the second coil I had on the Trident.

The wife and I test about twenty different juices and I decide I want the JFK made by Dead Prezidentz (cant seem to find it anywhere on the internet). It is tasting incredible in the mod on the ride home and I can't wait to get the Trident loaded up with a dual coil build, a fresh battery and start vaping. Then something changes, the flavor while still good isn't as flavorful as it was with the single coil and other battery that I had just barely put into the charger.

I handed it to my wife and ask her to try it, she says the same thing "it's good but not as good". Just as I am about to cut the second coil loose I stop and say wait to myself then grab the battery that I had taken out of the mod and put it back in and BAM/POW/POP (yep just like the old comic books) the flavor is just about the same as what I remembered it being. I pull the battery out and hand it to my wife and ask her to drop the battery into her Vamo V2 and check the voltage, it comes up at 3.6 volts.

We have been vaping for about a year now and it's funny just how much a small thing like a charge in a battery on a mech. mod or a single/dual coil build, ohm's etc. etc. can change a vape from it's OK to incredible. Now we are both wondering if we passed by another great tasting juice just because we didn't find its sweet spot.

Pretty amazing. Everything comes into factor, even the size of the hole in the drip tip. It's fun finding the sweet spot, isn't it.

I went back in and took out the second coil again and I am guessing it is the juice just likes to be run at a higher resistance (1.7 ohms) and it has such a great hit now and the flavor is spot on. Strange since the Peaches and Cream is better at .8 ohms and a fresh battery.

I guess it's all a learning process like pretty much anything else.
