Flavor Concentrate Inquiry - Safe?

Hi everyone!

Newbie here in DIY E-Liquid

I would just like to inquire about a possible flavor concentrate that I would use for my e-juice mixing.

I have with me the COA of the product and it says:

=======================
Flavor: Apple

Flavorings: Synthetic Flavoring Substance
Solvent/Carrier: Propylene Glycol
Aroma Chemicals: Synthetic
Extracts: N/a

Suggested Dosage: 0.10%
======================

I also have this one

=====================
Flavor: Peach

Legislation: Synthetic
Solvent/Carrier: Propylene Glycol
Aroma Chemicals: Synthetic
Extracts: Natural Oils

Suggested Dosage: 0.10%
================================

Are they both safe to use? based on the COA?

I have a separate USP - PG and USP - VG to use as the base

Thank you very much in advance and I would just like to make sure that what I am about to mix and eventually vape would be safe for my lungs =)

Cheers!

Not enough details to help you out, synthetic means what?

Synthetic Flavoring Substance
Aroma Chemicals: Synthetic
Flavorings: Synthetic Flavoring Substance
Extracts: Natural Oils

None of the above are broken down to tell us what they are.

And what is Legislation: Synthetic ??

Maybe you need to do some google work??

hi Whiskey that would be all

For Apple:

Top:
Description: A transparent colorless to pale yellow liquid with the flavor and aroma of apple

Bottom:
Appearance: liquid
Color: colorless to pale yellow

That is all at the COE and at the very bottom are just precautions and shelf life

Best advice I can think of is, if the COA reads like that, with no breakdown, I would avoid using anything by them. Others may add their opinions to this.

When in doubt, don't. There are way too many brands/vendors that we use that provide full disclosure of ingredients. You can't be too careful.

Actually it is a legitimate COA

I could probably ask for the ingredients

Thanks for the replies

Never heard of that one, or have seen any recipes with it either.
I'd stick with the more well known, and most used flavor brands myself.
Especially when first starting out, as you can get much help from the ppl. here.
Plus the sheer number of recipes posted here and elsewhere don't use that brand.

Yeah, @Huckleberried , sir, answer the question....:D
ROFL!!!

Sir can I just ask based on the COA of the apple flavor

Is it safe to vape?

Also it is PG based based on the carrier/solvent

Most flavorings that vapers use ARE in a PG base. Some in VG, some have alcohol. I've not seen any with NATURAL flavoring. Oils shouldn't be vaped. There are several brands that we all gravitate toward, is why I ask. Companies that sell these flavorings, some of them put up MSDS sheets.

Aside from that, we don't know that it's "safe" to vape the ones we do, we just believe it to be safer than cigs.

I believe it has no oil based on these details and it is also PG based

I believe if the solvent/carrier is PG, it is miscible in water correct?

MSDS is also availble upon request i would also ask about it

OK, so no oil, PG base, synthetic flavorings... sounds like what most people use, but I'm still curious as to the company that makes them.

@Escritor, since you've said you're new to the DIY world, we really just want to be helpful. Brands do kinda matter here, especially when it comes to how much to use for different ones. If using baking type stuff found in a grocery, not gonna be the best stuff to go with.

Thank you for the reply sir sent you the brand name in private

In my place raw materials for ejuice is very limited that is why I need to make use of what is available in the local market

But i believe they are not just baking stuff
