According to The Hollywood Reporter, Fandango and Movie Tickets were two of the big sites that crashed last night after tickets were made available a few hours earlier than originally expected.
Users attempting to access Fandango's website were greeted with a message that read: "Something funny is definitely going on. We're getting to the bottom of it." Movie Tickets displayed a similar message, saying: "Web server is returning an unknown error."
