Former Double Fine COO Justin Bailey has launched a new crowdfunding platform called Fig, focusing entirely on supporting video games.
Talking to GamesIndustry.biz, Bailey said that, after Double Fine's successes on other crowdsource platforms, he wanted to "combine the benefits of gamer pledges, investor interest and expert curation" with an easily customizable campaign page and an opportunity to support developers throughout the each development stage of their product.
There will also be an opportunity for backers to fully invest in a game and "have the opportunity to participate in the financial success of the games they help make possible".
