FOX has given the green light to another drama series, The Frankenstein Code (formerly just Frankenstein), executive produced by Howard Gordon (24, Homeland) and starring Robert Kazinsky (Pacific Rim, True Blood).

According to Deadline, the series draws inspiration from Mary Shelley's classic novel but is set in our modern-day world. The story follows Jimmy Pritchard (Kazinsky), "a morally corrupt retired cop given a second chance at life when he is brought back from the dead. Now younger and stronger, Pritchard will have to choose between his old temptations and his new sense of purpose."
