Freakshow Mini

I've been doing a lot of reading today and I stumbled across an old link I had saved for a freakshow mini rda. I have one at home (I'm out of town at the moment) that I used briefly and all I got out of it was headache and bad flavor. I remember that it was touted as an amazing flavor rda. Does anyone use a freakshow mini? Or did you at one time use one? Did you have any success? If so, what build did you use? I'd like to Crack it back open and try it again. It was a pricey gift after all.

I've got one, but was a long time ago, I got it because it had bottom feeder pin with it, so got it when trying squonking, I really liked it, think I only had single coil setup, think was just a simple single 26 gauge 2.5mm coil at 0.50ohms.

Used so many different toppers since, really can't remember that much, but as it is the only bottom feeder atty I kept (out of 5) after got rid of my squonkers, I must of thought it was the best

I got a freakshow mini still laying around, not using it annymore since it had a fairly small driptip but if i had a chuffcap for it i would definitely start using it again always had great flavour of it. Cant put a too big build in it but a dual 22g 2.4mm 5 wrap will do great on it.

I've got 4 of them, love the first one I got and saw them on sale for $8 so I picked up another 4.

Anyway I like running it on my Mini Volt with at 1.2 Ohm build, lowest I've put on it was at .5. It's a great flavor chaser and putting a pair of SS fused claptons at around 1 ohm gives a very nice vape.

I remember the most annoying thing about it was the lack of a drip tip and the seemingly micro sized deck. That and the damn thing loved leaking.

No issues with leaking, just need to know how to drip with it. Like any bottom air flow RDA "paint" the coil once then drip on the cotton "not" the coil. Flavor is killer and I enjoy mine. Heck, when I get home tonight think I'll put a build on it since I haven't played with it for a while

What ID do you go with?

I usually do a 2mm or 2.5mm at most, it all depends what wire I'm using. I personally like a SS 34x2/40 Fused Clapton around a 2mm di, awesome vape. Or at times I'll pop a SS 30g/36 basic Clapton on it. Again usually ohming out around 1 - 1.2
