I've been looking at this dripper for a few weeks now but I haven't pulled the trigger.. Been hearing really good things about it..

I've found that you can set it up for either really, just by changing the airflow and type of juice. my higher VG juices on this thing gives me both. I tried the Blue Label DADDY's in my car, and first draw I smoked out my car and could taste EVERYTHING. I guess the only complaint I would have is the build space, but really even that isn't much of a factor.

I've been looking at the freakshow, troll and doge as my next RDA. I've got the troll in my cart at the moment, but haven't pulled the trigger yet. I like the idea behind the freakshow with the air vents below the coils for flavor, but I'm hearing that it is a pain to wick well.

I got the Freakshow for Christmas and I love it! Dense clouds and flavor! I'm running it dual coil around .5 ohms and 4.5 volts (so ~40.5 watts), airflow about 80% open. I love the warm, but not crazy hot vapor. I was worried about leaking, but so far it's no worse than my other drippers.
I've got my eye on the carbon fiber, but leaking had me concerned with the bottom airflow. I'm also looking at the Yep, Dragon, and Mutilator.
Leaking really concerns me with my iPV3, my primary mod. I can wipe off my mechs, but juice in a regulated box is a no no. My magma will leak a bit if I'm not careful and has bottom airflow, so that's my experience. My Mutation X V2 is basically leak free, I'm tempted to get a second, but all these new RDA's are too intriguing.
I made a thread about this, but I'm more into flavor, too. I got the Mutation V2 and discovered that putting a more restrictive drip tip on top of the huge delrin one makes the flavor rival my Magma. You can still use the huge ass delrin alone if you feel like clouds. I use an original KFL tip for best flavor. It's a great RDA aside from the triangle head screws. I love it, and being a strictly Kayfun guy prior, I care about flavor.

I realized pretty quickly that it's just like any other rda, you just have to know how many drops it can handle. I never do more than 8 drops from a wider nossled bottle, 12 from a thin nossle. That's not really any different from my other rdas, except for the hobo v2.1.
Have you tried the hobo? Huge drip well and best tasting atty I have tried. The clouds aren't as dense as the freakshow, but the flavor is great.
I got both the Freakshow (Carbon fiber) and the troll in yesterday. I have a dual 26 twisted spiral wire at .32 ohms in the Freakshow. With the airflow closed down the flavor is great, or wide open for clouds. I feel like it looses alittle flavor wide open but is still better than my Darkhorse. I have a 1.2 ohm dual 32 ga on the Troll to use with a DNA 30. So far I like the flavor and vaper on the Troll but I do want to put a sub ohm build in it to try also.
I'm just worried about leaking with bottom airflow, but the carbon fiber would match my carbon fiber iPV3 so well. And for flavor it looks really nice. I've mastered the flavor on my Mutation V2, and I can get a shit ton of juice in it with no leaking, so who knows what I'll do. I want a Kayfun 4, too, lol. Fucking vape gear is more addicting than nicotine.
@bluraff3 I've looked at the Hobo, it's intriguing for sure, and seems to be well liked. Sounds like my style from your description.

I've had mine for a month. And I've found that the crown single coil works amazing on it. I snake my wicking threw the crown though and fluff it up in the back where usually the second coil would go. The airflow and flavor are amazing.
