I just had a fucking eureka moment!!!!! i was tinkering with this again saying to myself " self whats this fucking missing?" i replied "how about some acetyl pyrazine " it worked !!!!:D mix this up . ;) i cant be more pleased with it.:) i have been vaping the shit out of it.I adjusted the op to show it.I think the nuttyness of the acetyl pyrazine really tied it together
  • All flavors are FA unless noted : gambit -fa-v6.2
  • apple or fuji 1%
  • apple pie 4%
  • acetyl pyrazine 4-6 drops per 30 ml
  • fresh cream 1%
  • custard 0.5%
  • caramel 1.5%
  • vanilla classic 1%
  • vienna cream 2%
  • pie crust (tpa) 1.5%
  • options : you could reduce pie crust to 1% (steeping helps) i make 2 batches one to mack on and one to steep for 7/10 days
  • I hope you like it ,one of my favorite ADV_vapes, always looking to improve it . feedback welcome.

Just mixed this up in a beaker and put it on the stir plate for 2 hours. Not too shabby. Anxious to see how it tastes in a few days.

I want to make the TFA version but I'm just missing Apple Pie. Think one could get there with TFA Apple and Pie Crust which I have, or does mixing not work that way?

how similar would you say the TFA version is the to FA revision?

80% similar, the flavorings have a different profile tpa version is a bit more in your face and fa version is more smooth both need steep time fore sure.

Appreciate the reply, I've got all but one of the TFA, but only half the FA til my next shipment comes in, so I figured I'd give it a shot with TFA if it was similar enough for me to decide whether I would want to snag the remaining FA stuff I haven't already ordered. I started (like many) with TFA, then expanded into CAP. For Christmas, I got myself some starter FA flavors for my next big push, and I've been expanding my horizons with those this year. Today was my birthday (mixed up a birthday cake batter juice for myself lol) and I'm expanding into Medicine Flower extracts as my next phase of DIY. I've lurked here for months, but I participate on reddit's DIY sub daily. Decided I've gotten skilled enough to have something to offer here as well.

@ ADV Made this myself with a couple of substitutions see below

FA Fuji Apple 1%
FA Apple Pie 7%
FA Caramel 3%
TPA Whipped Cream 2%
CAP Vanilla Custard 2%
TPA Pie Crust 4%
2 Drops Brown Sugar per 10ml
1 Drop Acetyl Pyrazine per 10ml

The Fuji Apple in this recipe is fantastic (My Fave Apple Conventrate). I have never tried the real Gambit but this is absolutely delicious

Thanks for the Inspiration!

I have never tried Gambit, but i decided to mix this up to give it a try. It is really good, i am impressed. I used your exact recipe in your OP except i used Fuji apple instead of the regular apple.

Since i have 3 other juices i mixed up today i am going to let this one sit a few days and see how it is. I can only imagine it is going to get better. Thanks for the recipe.

Mixed this one last saturday at 1.5% Pie Crust, as you mentionned this needs to steep for a while. The pie crust flavor is dominating the juice at the moment.

I'ts really close to the real thing but a little less sweet, My next batch will be with Fuji and Apple 50/50 to get a little more edge out of the apple. Not sure what I'll use to get a little extra sweetness. Maybe some EM, some Brownsugar, Fa Maple ..

Any suggestion on the best way to make this sweeter?

Sucralose is the real 'sweetener', the other flavors just add the illusion of sweetness but they're not technically sweet themselves and they alter the flavor profile. I don't use sweetener hardly ever, but if you like the flavor and just want more sweetness, that's really the best way to go -- sucralose or rebaudioside-A (stevia).

I still have the stevia tests on my to-do list. I guess it just ramped up to no 1 on the list.

Hi all, new UK member here. Been on the hunt for a seriously good apple pie recipe and this looks like it! Just bought all of the ingredients and am ready to get to mixin'.

A few quick questions: Could I add FA cookie to boost the bakery / crust notes in this and if so what percentage should I use? I'm not really a big fan of TPA's pie crust (or perhaps my past mixes using it just haven't been that good). I was also thinking of adding some FA cinnamon ceylon as I'm a big cinnamon fan, starting with 0.5% should be a fairly safe bet?

I use FA Apple Pie and FA Cookie in a 2:1 ration for a pie crust-like note. I'd try Cookie at 0.5% and go from there in this recipe.

I woudn't add Cinamon Ceylon even if you like it, this isn't a bakery type cinnamon, it's more like the red hot's cinnamon candy taste. Don't get me wrong here, I'm a huge cinnamon fan, but still didn't find any bakery type cinnamon flavor yet. But the best way to find out, is to try, i'd start off at .25%.

Thanks for the advice man, I'll give it a shot.

Ah I see, that's good to know because I do not like the artificial cinnamon red hot flavor at all. The reason I bought it was that it's used in HIC's churros recipe (which I have not mixed yet) so assumed it would work well in a bakery mix. If anyone can recommend a good bakery cinnamon please chime in!

^^ I did that recipe 2 x and cut the cinamon in half, I enjoy it more that way :p

I tried it couple weeks ago, but didn't have pie crust. Instead, I put a drop or two (10ml sample) of FW Graham Cracker. Damn - that's one tasty vape!
I decided to make another small batch yesterday, and while mixing - I had a brain fart - put 4% FA PINEapple instead of apple. Yuck! On to mix another bottle.....

If your asking me, pie crust works well with this mix, but i really like the flavor. The real gambit Has heavey pie crust taste, but everyones taste is different. Fa apple pie does have a little pie crust note itself, i put the extra in this recipe to match the gambit juice. I might recommend just going .75 pie crust and .75 cookie if your not a big fan .

Bakery cinnamon is FW cinnamon churro, which is totally killer, and there are a.bunch of cinnamon roll flavors that do the trick also, they may not work here, I don't know, but they are bakery cinnamon. This looks.really good.so.thanks for the share. On a side note, I fucking hate tfa pie crust, so I do the Apple pie and cookie thing too.

Lol I thought it seemed off a little bit but not sure where. I have seen a few in the 2 1/2 years of vaping. However I love recipes like this that are full of flavor to stay away from the paper Penis.... I made a funny lol. I am a sweets kind of vaper. love cereal vapes like looper, cereal killa, unicorns milk & sugar bear. Those 4 are my favorites. Those are my all days besides the MT dew clones I do

yes or tpa whipped cream at 2%

Thank you for this :) IT really seems like you have put alot of work into making this, I am def going to try it, Gambit is one of, if not the best eliquid that Ive vaped, I was also wondering if you have tried Jimmy the juicemans creme brulee which is another favourite of mine, but its ofc a whole different liquid but I cant seem to find a good clone recipe anywhere :) thanks again!

I've just tried the TPA version and is really great!
After a week of steeping apple pie seems very "light" to me.
I'm not getting these high notes I was expecting.
Should I increase Apple pie flavor, add some other Apple flavor or let it steep for 2-3 weeks more?

I noticed the same thing. I was really hoping to get that cinnamon flavor from the apple pie, but after a week of steeping the pie crust really takes a front seat. Suggestions?
