Gangsta has made it clear that most normal people can’t see the Twilights, or Tags, as anything more than monstrous killing machines. Episode 4 of Gangsta proves why people have a right to be afraid, and digs even deeper into Worick and Nicolas’ past. While their character development is great, Alex’s subplot falls flat in this episode.
The Handymen have been taken for questioning at the police station after several sliced up bodies were found in a warehouse. Of course, police officer Chad knows that the Handymen didn’t have anything to do with it, so he uses the questioning process to please the higher-ups and as a means of getting their help. Nicolas ignores one of the newer cops during questioning, which is a great moment that demonstrates just how much control the Handymen know they have over the situation. Meanwhile, Worick is helping Chad break down the mystery.
