The PC version of Gears of War: Ultimate Edition will be released sometime after the Xbox One version launches on August 25.
Head of Xbox Phil Spencer broke the news on Twitter in response to a fan's inquiry about the PC release date. "Gears on Win10 is later than Xbox One version," he wrote.
IGN has reached out to Microsoft to see how much longer PC players will have to wait for the Gears of War remaster.
Developer The Coalition revealed Gears of War: Ultimate Edition would be coming to PC during this year's E3. The Ultimate Edition will run in 4K on PC and feature DX12 support. The remastered game includes 19 multiplayer maps and six game modes, along with five campaign chapters never released on Xbox 360.
