Hello folks, I was sent a Ageis for the purpose of review by the good folks at Efun-Top, https://www.efun.top// https://www.efun.top/geek-vape-aegis-box-mod.html
Now I am not a reviewer, I do not have the test equipment that some more qualified reviewers have and use. I consider myself a advanced vaper like most of you, so I will attempt to convey my personal experience and opinion of the Aegis.
The packaging is mostly standard, the sleeve is colorful and shows a picture of the mod enclosed.
First impression when I opened the box, a nice looking mod, feels good in the hand, solid, somewhat heavy, it feels like quality, the leather is genuine, the 510 is 25mm and made out of Stainless Steel, I grabbed several tanks to try fit. All my Crowns sit flush, my OBS Engines sit flush, I even tried Kanger Subtanks V2, all flush.
One tank in particular that has a long 510, the Vaporesso Gemini, it sits flush.
The battery door/screw out hatch is very well made and has a O-Ring seal, it's nice!
Battery in, a 26650, 5 clicks on, the screen is a nice big and very bright screen, can adjust the brightness, I'm liking the buttons, very clicky and positive, this mod feels good in the hand.
While on, 3 clicks to get into the menu, easy to navigate, everything we have grown to expect, plus it has Curve settings and TCR.
I'm vaping my OBS Engine Sub .2 Notch SS because it can go both ways, Power or TC, the mod ohms spot on, vaping at 65W, this mod fires fast and hard on full charge, both a plus, a nice vape. I did power with this mod for a good 1000 hits, I would not hesitate to use this as a everyday mod. I used the preset TC for Stainless at first, one thing caught my eye, the TCR for the preset SS was 091? The hit was a little weak for me, I adjusted over to the TCR Mode and set it to 105, a much better hit at 70W and 490°. I've had better TC, but this is acceptable.
One honorable mention, the mod I received showed up with a 26650 battery, a battery I had never seen before or heard of, a Golisi, well I Googled it and found Mooch had a review of it. He placed it in the top 3, alongside of the Iloy and Aspire, he also mentioned that all three may be the same battery, he was going to retest the Ijoy.
So after 2000 hits and a week of use, I really cannot find anything wrong with the Aegis and did I mention, it's shockproof and waterproof.
My personal opinion, at the price it sells for, it's a steal, I recommend it.
