Hello friends,

So i have a Griffin from Geek Vape and i have leaking problems on the airflow. the problem is i have found out that in the airflow regulator ring there is a gap between the bottom and tom of the base.

Dose any one know how to fix this, i love this RTA and before it get that gap there was no leaking problems watt so ever.

Thanks for your time and have a cloudy day :D

It's press fitted. Same thing happened to mine and I'm simply waiting for a new rta. I'd suggest getting a new base if you can or a new rta altogether. There are several improvements on the griffin design out there by now :) Have a good one.

Maybe you can try the fix peeps found on the Merlin RTA thread.

How did you repress?
Im not saying this is whats wrong with everyones

I used two sockets of the right size and a small hammer tapping very lightly
one one the bottom and one on the outer rim of the base on top being very careful not to damage the oring or threads
Then I did the ring surrounding the wicking channels in the same way

If you try this and it damages your base Im not responsible for damage
I did this because I did have extra bases

also keep in mind I was head of a detail department in a machine shop for 25 years so I am not an amateur at this.

I figure you have nothing to lose right?
