Geekvape Aegis X mod not counting puffs or showing amps

Hello, everyone. I just got a brand new Geekvape Aegis X mod and it is not counting the puffs nor is it showing the amps that are being put out. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Hi
I'd wait for more answers because this one here is the absolute last resort.
If you have a PC you could try updating the firmware
You have to be really careful to follow the firmware instructions or the upgrade could ruin your device.
That's the main reason I'd wait for more input.

This is the link for the original firmware:
I couldn't find any newer firmware on the page.

Also, I reset the mod, and I noticed that it only counts puffs if I take a puff for 1 second or longer.

That's really odd as well.
I'm hoping someone that has an Aeigis X comes along and can give you some better answers.
If it were mine as long as it vaped good and the important functions worked I wouldn't risk the firmware reset.

My Aegis Legends only count the puffs after 1 second also.
The Amps will only be displayed when you hit the fire button. Soon as you release the fire button, the Amps will read 0.
It's the way they are.

There you go. :)
That's so wonderful that the device is working properly.
I'm very glad that you got it straightened out.

If you wanna see the current (amps) you can vape in a mirror
as long as you don't mind not being able to get a date for the next 2 years...;)
.

If you have your geekvape aegis x on 70 watts you have to take a 2 second puff on 65 you can take a 1 second puff.
it’s quite weird and i’ve been looking at all the settings, videos and peoples comments.
There’s no firmware for the geekvape aegis x as i was trying with my old geekvape so if you can anymore questions let me know :)
