Today i took the drip tip off my Griffin for the first time when i was cleaning the tank and noticed that the rubber seal o rings started coming off in little pieces, does the spares that come with the tank include o ring replacements? i see a few small black rubber rings in the spares but are those for the drip tip or the tank itself?

What is the best solution to fix this?

When I first got my Griffin it was really hard to pull that drip tip because the o-rings were noticeably dry..I lubed them up with a few drops of juice and they are still in great shape..maybe yours was so dry they broke apart is my guess..don't know about the little replacement rings in the bag..might try if they fit the drip tip..

Replace it bro
Yes, but replace it with what? :)

That is exactly what happened, they were so dry they did not survive the first pull, i lubed them with juice before re-inserting the drip tip but that was no good after they broke apart on the first pull :(

I went to Geekvape site to email them about this and ask how do i best fix it best but their site is down at the moment, will check the spares bag if the black o rings in there are for the drip tip

Thanks a bunch guys

Lubing the Orings on the Griffin are a must because the tolerances are sooo tight. If you havent lubed them they can break over time of use or from the heat/air, replace them with the ones included in the spares bag. The bag is located under the foam material in the package if you didnt notice it before.
Geekvape included spares for every Oring on the RTA including the Drip tip.
Once they are lubed up and you work the tip in and out it will loosen up and you wont have them break or worry about them afterwards....just be sure to pull the tip out and reinstall the tip a few times after replacing them.

I had to get the drip tip off the first time in order to lube them but they broke apart on the first pull, the spares bag has 4 small black o rings, two thin and two thick ones i assume the thick ones are for the drip tip? should i lube them with juice before replacing them and pushing the drip tip back on?

Is that drip tip size a standard? can i buy a replacement drip tip with that size? or is the size unique to the Griffin?

They should be the thick orings, only lube them before plugging the tip into the mod.

There should be a 510 Drip Tip Adapter in the bag...its the Plastic round object with the hole in the middle, Plug your normal tip into it, lube the orings on it, then insert it into the Griffin.

i know there is an adapter but i like this wide bore drip tip with its wide diameter, can i buy a drip tip with the same size where i do not have to use the adapter or is this size unique to the Griffin?

If someone makes a Custom version I guess...The Adapter and the Dotmod have almost the same bore...thats why I use it, but its comfy'R. It matches up perfectly to the Chimney so your not losing any width.

See?

Let me make a guess, you are more mature, more knowledgeable and more intelligent for some vapers' taste, i noticed many people in the vaping communities have a childish teenage style/mentality, and your adult style does not suite them very well. i wouldn't care too much, you are the best really.

WOW definitely getting those, thanks for the 10th time for the awesome recommendation :)

Speaking of recommendations, i checked the R200 in details after our last discussion to make an order, found out that it does not have a charging circuit so it can not be charged via USB, that is a big problem for me because i am used to always charge my mods in the car, in the office, etc ... so no USB charging is a killer for me :(

I must place an order for a mod soon and i still can't figure out what to get, the order will probably be from Fasttech or similar, a mod, a black Griffin, these drip tips you recommended, a bunch of wires including claptons etc ...

It would need to be a Parallel Circuit Mod or use a Lipo with Balance Charging if you want USB Charging...Not many out there worth buying. I bought the Luc6 efest charger and a second one as there is a deal on them for $20 and then pick up a 8 pack of 25R's off ebay for 35 bucks...Just charge them overnight and swap them through the day...

Swapping batteries on the go annoys me, the iStick TC100W and DNA200 devices are the only devices that conform to these specifications, one has batteries in parallel and the other uses Lipos or balanced charger for 18650s, iStick being the more attractive option, i think i will just get another one, no need to look elsewhere if it is working for me, also there is the Wismec Vaporflask Stout on a single 26650 which should also be ok to charge with USB, but out of all these i like the iStick best especially for its price, can be had for $28 with a coupon, nothing else beats that.

Smok R80 is another option if 80w is enough for you...I wish my R200 had a lipo like my R80 does...it lasts forever, even when maxxed out.

Whoa now, what a minute here..The RX200 does indeed charge in-mod with the supplied USB charging cord
ed6122c1c8d57da388a5f559a39a2a56.jpg
The USB port on the bottom of these two is used for in-mod charging as well as updates..I used a 5v wall charger from my old Android phone and indeed it charged all three batts evenly to 4.2v..but it took close to 3.5 hrs..I use a separate charger but it's good to know the RX can be charged USB should the need arise...

Yes some mods with batteries in series can be charged via USB, the Cuboid is an example and i think the Wismec Vaporflasks as well, problem is that if you charge them this way regularly batteries get out of balance soon, the voltage difference starts getting wider and wider and soon the batteries become "divorced" and start being risky to use together.

With the iStick i have with batteries in parallel the internal charger makes them perfectly balanced at all times, voltages at full charge and full drain are exactly the same down to 0.01V i measured the bats individually when fully charged and fully discharged and they are always almost exactly the same, was not the case with the Cuboid the batteries used to always have a voltage difference that seems to get wider with time, i think it is the same with the RX200 as well.

Also with series mods the batteries are discharged differently and stressed differently, which also causes voltage differences, not the case with parallel mods where load on batteries is exactly the same at all times during the entire discharge cycle.
