GeekVape Karma Mech Kit

I just watched a vid on the the GeekVape Karma Mech Kit, it looks pretty nice. GeekVape is making a mech mod with a combo RDA/RDTA and it seems interesting. It's a copper mod with magnetic button, and insulated battery compartment. The atty is a switchable RDA/RDTA and looks similar to the iJoy RDTAs, simple fill method, V-deck and wicking slots for the RDTA.

The copper and black combo looks pretty sharp. It looks very nice in the review and he has a coupon code at Heaven Gifts https://www.heavengifts.com/product/GeekVape-Karma-Starter-Kit.html to bring the price to $29.99. That seems like a great price for that kit. His code is AMIKE299

The coupon code AMVKARMA works as well. Just ordered one of these bad boys. With a release date of Dec 5th I'm expecting to get it just before the New Year.

Will do! Been stocking up on Mech's since the regulations hit. Currently sitting on two Noisy Crickets, a SIMPL style tube that came with the NC Upgrade Kit. Awaiting this eagerly. I wanted a Geekvape Avocado for a long time and for $30 this is basically that plus a promising mod!

I was thinking the same thing, for a mod and atty, it's a good deal. I like Genny style, like the Avocado, but like this build deck and fill method better, plus it converts to an RDA. There always seems to be another new cool toy I want...lol

Haha right? I use to be the same way about guitar gear, now I've transitioned to vape gear. We had a term on the guitar forum I frequented called GAS, gear acquisition syndrome. :
I'm a Geekvape Whore at this point. Have a Tsunami and a Griffin, love em to death.

Damn I wish it wasn't strictly hybrid. The direct heat transfer bothers me. If it wasn't or they included an adapter they'd have my money already. Hell I'd probably get two.

I use a Broadside almost exclusively because it has the same insulation inside the tube, you know, just in case.

Wow, I think I will have to order one of these, thanks for sharing :).

I really do like budget mechs and clone mechs. I am mainly a regulated guy, but have built up a collection of solid performing mechs, for not much money at all!
I do understand some people like to pay for high end mechanical mods, and that is cool and I respect that, but I really do get a lot of enjoyment from my cheap mechs, and am also not too worried about them getting a little ding here or there like I would be with one that cost 10 times the amount.

I already have some heat sinks, which I may use if I used a different RDA, although I don't have a problem with using the hybrid connection with the included RDA, or one with a protruding 510.

@plastic-ashtray , I play guitar myself too and am familiar with GAS. I haven't gone too mad this year, although I did get a new Blackstar HT5M amp with a 4X8 cab, really enjoying that amp.

I think this could be a really nice device, at a really nice price.

I wouldn't trust such a heat sink on a hybrid since the positive pin barely protrudes outwards.

I'm glad you mentioned this. I was thinking the same thing and spent a good amount of time trying to figure it out for myself. I think I'll just find a couple good clones for now.

Well I've read threads of people using that exact heat sink on hybrid mechs so I don't know what to tell you. I personally haven't used it, but there's at least one person using it without a hitch haha

Man, I'm identical. I was a bass gear whore for over a decade. Luckily I have everything I need music related now!

I am also loving my Tsunamis and Griffins and actually ordered the Karma Kit from FT. They approved a $28.99 price match, but it takes a few days to load I. Their system, so I cancelled my existing order. Apparently the MAP will be adjusted to $28.99 soon which is crazy for the mod AND atty! I will, order again once the price drop hits.

It depends which heat sink you go for- some do have a protruding pin, and also are adjustable, while others are not. As long as it is protruding, or at least adjustable, I use them with no qualms :).

I typed in my address as AVE instead of ST and my Karma Kit got returned to the sender the day it was supposed to be out for delivery :(
Now I have to wait up to two months for a fucking refund.

It's been sitting outside since early afternoon, and it's 7 out. I need to let it defrost a bit.
