Warning: Full spoilers from the episode follow.
This week's Girl Meets World marked another major return for a classic Boy Meets World character -- well, two classic characters in this case -- as well as another great storyline for Shawn. Ever since his first appearance, we've gotten little hints that his former flame Angela (played once again by Trina McGee) was still on his mind. References to Angela's purse and the idea that she was the "one that got away" fueled more than a handful of subplots this season, specifically as it pertained to Maya.
In "Girl Meets Hurricane," things appeared to be going really well for Shawn and Maya, who at this point had totally embraced their father/daughter dynamic. This included some very sweet moments, like Shawn buying Maya a new dress just to see her face light up. (Meanwhile, Riley trying to piggyback off this gesture with Cory was also funny.) Of course, the missing piece of the puzzle here was Katy, and she seemed to realize that fact.
