Hello all, I recieved a pre-release Goliath II today from Youde as part of a "Giveaway for testing" they did on facebook (along with a Goblin mini, and the same way I ended up with th original Goblin). As some of you know, I am a subohm RTA afficianato, and have most of the newest tanks in my arsenal. The build deck on the G2 is very similar to that on the G1, however the airflow and juice control rings are much improved. Also, no sharp, silly heatsinks on the topcap. I am looking for build ideas for flavor, and high wattage. The build deck is small (think Zephyrus) and in order to get above 60 watts with thick juice the build will need a fairly low heat flux. I've got some 3mm, 24 gauge, 10 wraps in there now that I had to squish into a "D" shape with pliers to fit. I want something simpler, prettier and more potent. What would be your first build if you had this tank? Pics to follow.

I've noticed with the goblin mini If you wick it with the cotton just over the channels kinda like a fluffy ball. I'm able to go as high and 70 watts chain vaping it with no dry its. With titanium I can go to 80 before I noticed the power is being throttle back.
Edit: I used 26g 2.5mm at .45 ohms with kanthal and 26g titanium 2.5mm .18 ohms contact coil

... I want both of those. How do they vape?
So far? Great! I have the same build and wicking as @dre in the Mini it would seem. Mines 26gauge, 2.5mm 0.48 ohms. Vapes great, haven't thought to try is above 50 watts yet though. I subbed the kanthal build out of the Goliath II and put 12 wrap 28 gauge nickel on 2.5mm. 0.077 ohms, 50 joules, 475 degrees. Vape is much better than with the 24 gauge D coils. I love the fit and finish/ appearance of both too.

Best build of the three I have tried: 26 gauge, dual parallel, 8 (16) wrap, 2.5mm, 0.26 ohms. 60 watts. Clouds bruh. Clouds.

Its all about dual parallel coils (and wicking). Twice as much wire. Flavor machine. Cloud machine. Haven't been below 60 watts since I put this build on. 3.94 volts at 60.
