Gone from Nautilus and M2L to Crown Tank and D2L--Wow

Preface: I've only been vaping instead of smoking for a few weeks (3 or 4). I've been using a couple Eleaf mods with Nautilus Mini and full size tanks with 1.8 Ohm coils for a M2L type draw. The juices I've tried have been a combination of high end factory juice, locally made juice and Verde Valley.

So, most of the juices have tasted good and been enjoyable. A few haven't had much for flavor and have seemed a bit dry. By dry I mean that they haven't seemed quite as smooth and enjoyable as I would have expected. I would get a dry throat feeling from them.

Now, today I received an RX200S mod, batteries (obviously) and a Uwell Crown tank. (These choices are due to research on this forum and the net in general for an inexpensive mod with two or three cells and reasonably priced tank). I started off with a Verde Valley juice at about 30 watts using the .5 Ohm coil (most reviews raved about this tank using the .5 Ohm coil). The draw seemed dry like it was with my Nautilus Mini. Also, not very enjoyable. I kept going up in wattage by 5 watt increments. Once I hit 60 watts---Wow. This juice really came alive in flavor, smoothness and---everything. I am f%$king amazed. This is nothing like what I've experienced using the other tanks. This particular juice was dry and a bit tasteless using the Nautilus.

Now for a question. Is this normal? Or, have I maybe been using my Nautilus tanks incorrectly? I've been anywhere from 8 watts to maybe 12 watts on the Nautilus tanks with 1.8 Ohm coils.

Another question, is there a different tank I can use for M2L that will give me the same flavor and smoothness without the big clouds I'm getting with the Crown tank?

Thanks,
Chris

It's about right-
It's more flavor and clouds using subohm tanks-
Some
People prefer that others prefer mouth to lung (but if u build cojls u can get MTL and better draws and flavor)

I was looking at the thread about best MTL tanks and it appears that coil building is what everyone is doing on that thread. I will hop over there and ask about it.

Thanks,
Chris

Finding a good m2l tank that you don't have to build on is hard these days. Aspire Nautilus X is a m2l non rebuildable tank.

Almost hate to admit it but I clearly remember how much I liked the Kangertech T2 clearomizer.
If I went back to MTL, I'd more than likely try to buy a small truckload of those with coil/wicks.
I liked them a LOT more than the Aerotank, Protank 1, 2, and 3.
Only other option I can think of that'd be a good MTL would be a Cubis with the 1.5 coil.
Wife has been using it since it came out and I can't seem to get her to upgrade to anything else.

I actually just got a Cubis locally to try. I think it has a little better flavor than the Nautilus as well. Once I figured out the flooding issue on the Cubis it hasn't left one of the Isticks I carry.

But, I think I need to try a rebuildable just to satisfy my curiosity. :)

Kayfun lite was my best MTL device and it's lost- stolen
I don't do MTL anymore so it's all good but that's a great tank to build on.
