When Google released the Chromecast back in 2013, it was an immediate hit because of its rock bottom price and streaming quality. Its concept: simply plug the device into the back of your television and use your Android or iOS device to “Cast” media over your home network. Now two years later, Google has released the updated Chromecast 2 but current Chromecast users might not need to upgrade.
