Hi people. I have the IPV D2, it arrived around 15 minutes ago!
I love it, its size, it does actually feel good quality, so there is no issues there.
The only thing is, as we know, the no step down in power mode.
I thought the workaround was choose joule mode, slap a kanthal device on, and choose joules as your wattage as the Chinese messed up and made 1 joule = 1 watt lol.
Thing is, if I try this, it says on screen NO JUICE and will not fire!
I have been using it in power mode, and its ok at around 30W, but when I lower the voltage, the voltage DOES go down on the screen, and 15W appears to produces a lot less than 30?
So, is it showing no juice as they know of the workaround, and this is a newer model without the problem, or should I try a different device? I have only tried my lemo, and that definitely had juice in lol.
Thanks to anyone that can help me.
