Warning: Full spoilers for the episode follow...
Gotham's back from its month(ish)-long break and ready to deliver us into the endgame for Season 1. That means a new villain (in the form of a bondage-based serial killer played by Milo Ventimiglia), an escalating feud between Gordon and Loeb, and...whatever the hell's going on with Fish over on Mr. Potato Head Island.
Let's get into the stuff that was okay (all I can muster at this point) about "Birds of Prey." I dug the flashbacks. This show doesn't even normally do flashbacks for its heroes, let alone a non-DC comics villain (unless the "Ogre" here is somehow going to actually morph into a monster man to line up with the lesser-known Batman baddie), so to watch -- basically -- poor Grace Fairchild get captured, controlled, and then killed off by Ventimiglia's handsome, rich stranger was pretty creepy.
