Griffin 25+ RBA

Hi guys!, just noticed this, im using a griffin 25+ RBA with tiger coil 28/ 6 wraps.... i notice when i fire it, theres a heat coming from the griffin. it is burning my lips if i continously use it , is this normal? or the build i have was not good enough?

maybe just turn down your wattage a little? I'm not sure what you mean. is the drip tip hot or are you getting spit back maybe?

I'm getting almost the opposite. I just got mine today. Dual coil build SS316L at .33 ohms. No bubbles. I've vaped about 3ml. Sit this thing out on a stand because I was sure it was leaking somewhere. An hour later dry as a bone. Vaped some more. Still not a bubble to be seen. It's vaping well. Reminds me of the Boreas. I've just never had a tank that didn't bubble unless it was leaking. Weird.

Edit...re wicked using less cotton and it is bubbling now. I'm going to need to rebuild. This one has 8 wraps of spaced coil and the cotton is too close to the chamber walls. So that it tends to pull out when I screw the tank on. I think this thing would do well with stomper coils since it wicks so well. I'll try claptons next.

No. You feel good about the wicking? Too much and you'll choke the juice flow. Too little and you'll overheat the coils. You might want to try a different coil. I wouldn't mess around with something like that too long without rebuilding. It's a big tank so you shouldn't be getting too much heat transfer. Mine is very cool.
