Grimy Windows (looking for a chemist)

Ever since I started vaping, my windows (at home, and in the car) get this grimy milky film on them quite quickly after cleaning.

I vape High VG juice, and like my big clouds, so this is obviously a contributing factor.

I've tried cleaning with Window cleaner (Windex), Water, Vinegar, diluted Dish Soap etc... but the windows seem to attract a film quite quickly and my Wife is "this close" to forbidding my vaping indoors.

What do you find effective that keeps the windows clean for a long time?

Are there any Chemists out there who may know of some chemical that would repel or inhibit the filmy deposit on windows? (This may lead to a product with huge $$$ potential if other vapers are having similar issues)

If you find the answer to this I'd love to know:p

And it's not just windows - have you checked your a/c filter?

Recently purchased a air purifier this has helped with clouds lingering. I have not tried this product just remember seeing it at some point it's called xon r8 cleaner for vape, just googled it and came up at rbasupplies.com.

91% Isopropyl alcohol removes the vg residue best.

Thanks for that info Grego. You get the gist of what I was asking about. An air purifier will probably help a little at home, but

I watched the XON R8 (pronounced "exonerate") video, and the guy said it had an ingredient list with Witch Hazel, and Alcohol as the primary ingredients.

Since I have some Witch Hazel, and some Alcohol (methyl), I'll give that a try and report back.

Getting the window clean is easy. My primary goal is to find a liquid that when applied to a window will prevent or at least significantly slow the VG condensation.

Rain-away is Hydrophobic, and causes water to bead on the glass surface, allowing the wind to blow it right off the windshield. Anti-fog compound for the inside of ski-goggles leaves an easily polished soapy film that prevents condensation from beading up blocking visibility. It's hydrophyllic and makes condensation form a thin transparent film, rather than a foggy layer of microscopic water droplets.

I was hoping that someone with a Chemist background may know of a compound that will be glycerolphobic and either repel the VG, or combine with it in a way that results in a non-foggy film.

Someone posted a thread about a similar problem with car windows, it posted Wednesday. One person responded recommending a rain x product designed for the interior car window ( rainxantifog ). This may be what you are looking for.

Rain-x treatment for the windows. Clean with good old fashioned Witch Hazel. You can buy a gallon at a pharmacy for less than $10
