Ive tried a couple builds on my taifun gt. Right now i have a 8 wrap 30g on 1/16 with sylica wick. This is the best build as far as vapor but gurgles. Any help. Finicky little thing.

The only way I was able to get rid of the gurgling when using silica was to cut the wick longer and lay it out in the chamber in a S pattern both sides before it came out of the cutouts. But really the best vape I get from it is using a microcoil with cotton.

Get some Japanese cotton. Work perfect in my taifun.. you can cut strips from it and lay it down like string. and soaks up juice really well.. Also try taking out your center center air pin and insulator.. will provide better air flow. Those two alone should help with gargling. i also found that my taifun worked better with wraps bigger then 1/16.. I use 2.4mm right now with 7 wraps at 1.2ohms.. thing is hitting like a dream..

i've used organic cotton balls, cotton cellucotton, Japanese cotton, and even rayon cellucotton (which i am actually impressed with). Never really had gurgling or flooding or for that matter even any leaking. I even took out the "tube" in the deck to improve airflow. I think the secret to this tank is making sure you put just the right amount of wick sticking out/through. Not too much wick to choke the coil and not too little allowing juice to seep through the chimney holes. Sort of a learning curve to get it right. Once you have it is a dream... prob my favorite tank

I like the rayon the best. Although i just built a 1.4 and im getting a burnt taste. I took the valve out too. May have to rebuild this back with 30 gauge. 28 is the burnt.taste.

I don't think that is your build, I was running mine with 24 gauge last week at 0.47ohms and was vaping great, sometimes I add a think layer of wick over the top of the coil, which seems to help with leaking and burnt hits, also I have my wick coming down the tank by about 1/4 inch.

I may put the flavor wick back and see how it goes. Thank you!

I use a flavor wick and leave it l-o-n-g. I find that Rayon works very well. I wick it with enough that the slots are completely filled when I screw the piece on about the skirt.
