Where the heck has this thing been since I started vaping!

This is an in-line device that fits between yoru battery (eGo or any Mod with a 510 connection, it should work well also with 808 devices if you use an 808 to 510 adapter). You can test your atomizer's resistance, battery voltage and wattage in real time. Press in the fire button and the LED screen rotates through all the test settings.

Features:
  • Voltage Reading: 3-15V
  • Ohms Reading: 0.01-9.99 (essentially unlimited)
  • Wattage Reading: Unlimited
  • Smart LED design
  • Accuracy: +/- 0.04%
  • Length: 40.5mm (this is length without connection areas, total length is 55.3mm)
  • Diameter: 14mm
  • Weight: 16g

    EASY TO USE:
    1. Screw tester onto your eGo/510 Mod
    2. Screw atomizer onto the opposite end of the tester (tester has eGo threading also)
    3. Power on your electronic cigarette or mod
    4. Hold down the power button on your mod/e-cig and the tester will display real-time voltage, resistance and wattage
SWEET!!!

That's cool.

Probably far more useful on a mech mod then a VV/VW mod, but I might get one anyway just for the sake of it.

I thought these looked pretty good too and bought one. Used it on a 0.25 ohm build on a mech mod and it lasted about 4 seconds. Exchanged it and the same thing happened. The shop was great and made it right for me.

Seems it can't take the current it's rated for, at least that's what I think the issue was. Or maybe they made a batch of bad ones and I just got unlucky.

ETA: Seems it may not just have been mine. From discountvapers;

"DO NOT USE ON SUB-OHM COILS THIS DEVICE MAY NOT BE ABLE TO HANDLE THE CURRENT"

you have to fire it off to check resistance? pass. i don't want to find out I have a short after i apply current. I can check the voltage under a load with a DMM.

I have one and I hardly use it anymore. It seems to perform as advertised but the fact that you have to hold down the fire button for several seconds to let it scroll through the options means that your atomizer is firing that entire time. Not something I want happening if I'm trying to check a build.
