Top-down twin-stick shooter Halo: Spartan Strike is now available for Windows Phone and iOS devices as well as Steam. The mobile Halo game is the successor to Halo: Spartan Assault.
On the Halo universe timeline, Spartan Strike takes place during the events of Halo 2 on New Mombasa in 2552. On mobile devices the game features controls adapted to touch screens.
Familiar Halo vehicles and weapons are part of the game, along with new additions like the airborne Kestrel VTOL and a new story "that will take you from New Mombasa on Earth to the enigmatic Gamma Halo."
In December, 343 Industries announced Halo: Spartan Strike would be pushed back into the new year. The Windows version of the game has been available on Steam since December 12.
