Hanaa Modz Pak DNA 30, what battery?

I picked up a Hana DNA 30 clone from Focalecig, less battery. What 18650 battery should I get? protected or unprotected, button or flat top. Sorry if its a dumb question, it's my first mod since my MVP. One other thing, since it has a charge port do I need/should I get a separate charger

LG HE, Efest 35. VTC4 (if you can find them) Samsung 25r is what everyone is using at the moment
also the MJXO I think they are called just relabeled LG HE's you want a battery than can so a bit more than the requirement so these are you best choice no do not use a protected cell they do not put out the amperage required for the HANA clones

Stick with flat tops. Battery is pretty tight on most of these.

Same here, I'm just a few months ahead of you. I went with the HE2 batteries with good results. Here's a link to a four pack from my seller (suggested by another member as reliable -- and selling authentics) at $6.50 each. They've done quite well for me.

Oh, and on the question of a separate battery charger -- yes, I would recommend. My experience is that batteries are more thoroughly charged (i.e. run longer). Additionally, the usb (and underlying circuit board) on my DNA30 clone came loose under normal use when plugging and unplugging the usb cable. I got a Nitecore Intellicharger V2 which has done an excellent job for me.

Picked up Samsung 25r's ($14 a pair), they last me over 2 days easily. I am so happy! Thanks again!

I run the Samsung 25r's also, grabbed a bunch of them from illumination supply, they are under 7 bucks a pop and I easily get a full day out of them.
