First of all, in case you missed it, I did finally review last week's episode (albeit a full week late), so if you never saw that review, you can find it by clicking here.
But let's get on to "Digestivo," because wow, what an episode! We always knew the final six episodes of Hannibal: Season 3 were telling the Red Dragon story, which raised questions about how the first half would wrap up. And this really did feel like a season – at times even a series – finale, as the threat of Mason Verger was taken care of once and for all, Will came home and Hannibal Lecter was finally locked up. It sure was satisfying seeing Alana and Margot team up to take Mason out like that – on the heels of the awesome reveal that he was wearing Cordell's face, not Will's. And I'm really glad Bryan Fuller structured the third season in these two distinct halves, as it basically feels like we are getting two seasons under the label of one.
