Rock Band developer Harmonix is turning to crowdfunding to port the series to PC.
The company launched a campaign today on crowdfunding platform Fig, with an initial goal of $1.5 million USD to bring Rock Band 4 to personal computer.
Rock Band 4 for PC will have all the same features as the console versions, and Fig backers will get up to additional 33 unannounced songs for contributing to the campaign. Most instruments from other versions of Rock Band will be compatible, though there are some exceptions due to adapters listed on the Fig campaign page. Song libraries from other versions will not carry over to the Steam version of Rock Band 4.
