Recently, the DNA 200 firmware update turned the chipset on it's head. I'm not able to vaporize a TFV4 CLP2 .35ohm Clapton coil at 83W with more flavor and vapor production than my RX200 and Koopor Primus 300. I've tasted a burnt coil at first and thought it would subside using 18650 powered devices but I tried a few different ones with different batteries with dissatisfying flavor and a laughably tiny amount of vapor during each try. The latest DNA 200 update allows for the perfect setup and better PWR mode as a "material" so it's not reading as nickle200 or something even though we believe it's not affecting the flavor or dangerous while in wattage mode. There is now truly a wattage mode as a "material".
I suggest turning temp function off completely, but lowering it to 200 degrees, trust me. Then lowering the pre-heat punch to 1.5. Seems low but definitely made a difference in the past so I leave that. Preheat time limit 1 second. and add watts to materials loaded onto the device. Its now the last on the list to the left to choose for adding. It will not have any graphs or curves or what have you. Now place your tank on that bad boy and select materials-watts- or might be labled PWR on device menu, i forgot. But the vapor is delicious and the clouds are huge. I bet this is how the maker intended the damn thing to work but the coils aren't always perfect in the 5 packs. Some are wonky but now this device I was going to give away which cost $159.99 is now the way to get the most of your VW vaping experience. I've tried the Cleito 120 .16ohm Clapton in the same fashion on the DNA 200 and it knocked my socks off. Perfect. I wonder if the DNA chips are just getting started. Heard of 250W DNA 250 chips and devices coming soon. I can't wait. I just don't think it's needed to require an additional source of power with two 18650s instead of a 1200mAH-1600mAH minimum Lipo. I think mine lasts longer than I need. Anyway. Check for the August full version update. It reinstalls the entire program and has different menu layout but it's nothing new, just visually changed. Ok. Enjoy
