I have the mason 24mm and I put new cotton through today. Everything was okay for a while. Then out of nowhere I'm getting a kind of harsh hit? Anybody know what the problem or solution could be?

Have your coils gummed up, or are they very black ? You might just need to burn the residue off and rewick. Hard to say, without actually seeing it or knowing your set-up.

Since you mentioned replacing the cotton, you might have used too much cotton, thus getting dry hits. However, as @Vape99 mentioned, it's hard to tell without seeing it.

might want to check if your wick is intact inside of the coil itself..have had the same kind of experience from time to time

Thanks for the feedback.. not sure what exactly the problem was.. might have been the juice. Or the coil, cause I have since installed a new build. I'm a beginner with these rdas and there seems to be a lot to it.

Next time unless your ohm meter says the coil is the issue..... Just try rewicking. It is very easy to rewick with too much or too little cotton. heck, you could have under dripped or even chain vaped faster or longer pulls than the wick could move juice. It only takes one hot or dry-ish hit to ruin a wick. Takes a bit more effort to damage a coil. And bad coils most often let you know they are bad with the first hit. Burnt, harsh and dry hits, and how to avoid them are all parts of the learning process.
