I ordered some 26ga ni 200 wire to try out temp control. After research and YouTube videos I can't seem to get it right. As I understand ni 200 wire is very low resistance. What ohm should I shoot for, .5 or more? Can't seem to build a coil above .1 Thanks

I don't know much about building but ive never seen a ni200 coil as high as .5, in terms of stock or pre-built coils.

Can I ask why you want to build that high? Is it because of the mod you are using?

I'm using a smok m80 plus. I've seen it will fire as low as .10 ohm but I thought I saw something about then firing to .20 ohm. I'm gonna try to build a new coil tom. Using a single coil rba on a subtank mini. I do have a smy 60 tc and a smok tfv4 w/dual rba coming Saturday

You'll need a 28g Ni200 wire, in order to build a higher resistance coil, that also fits into the RBA.

8 wraps of 30 gauge gets me about .2. I can not see you getting what you need with 26 gauge unless you do duel coils perhaps. CHEERS!

That sounds about right for a Ni200 coil. If you want to build higher Ti is both easier to work with and maintain and slightly higher resistance. Ni200 is best spaced, but Ti can be contact and pulsed.

What mod are you using it on?

Use Thinner wire. no way you're going to fit a 28g build in there for your resistance.

Thanks. I have a smok m80 plus, smy 60 tc and a nemesis mech.
