Need some assistance with this new unregulated, fully mechanical, dual 18650 box mod, it's a dimitri, the issue I'm having is that the batteries are draining at uneven rates, it only fires sometimes and it doesn't seem to hit as hard as my tesla invader II. What can I do or try?

Any help would be much appreciated

First of all, are the batteries the same type and "married"? Taking one battery that is new and one that has been used for a while will cause that because over time cells develop internal resistance as they are charged/discharged, so it's important to start off with 2 new matching cells. Check the conductors are they both clean and shiny? Check both positive and negative conduction posts.

Assuming the batteries are married it is a positive battery bar not making contact on the bottom. Check connectors (a green scrubby pad works well and are cheap.) The connectors should be slightly shiny. Make sure the batteries are not dented as well... :)

That's the least of my concern now, I can't get the thing to fire, I'm not sure what the issue is, my atty is making connection to the firing pin and all the straps and screws are connected, clean and tight where they should be, but when I throw batteries in it and press the fire button nothing happens, I know the switch is making contact.
