Help! Dropped My Xcube Mini And It's Hasn't Been The Same

Hey guys,

So I bought an Xcube Mini roughly 2 months ago, and a TFV4 tank about 2 weeks ago.

Until last week everything was working fine. I dropped it at work and the glass shattered and the coil that was in it split in 2. I installed new glass and a new coil. but it's been acting weird ever since. If I go awhile without using it, it resets the coil (so asks if it's a new coil). Sometimes it can't even register the coil and says "check atomizer" or "ohms too high" and even when it does register a resistance, 90% of the time it will show something crazy like 1.4ohms or 0.8 ohms, etc (I'm using a 0.2 ohm coil). It usually takes about 10 mins of fiddling with it to get it to read somewhere around 0.2 so I can use it. And it doesn't give me any issues at all while in use.

What should I do? Not sure if I crapped out the bottom part of the tank and should buy a new tank or if I should just buy a new mod altogether? Really frustrated and disappointed.

Ya prolly want to get by a vape shop and try a different tank on it.

Then you could tell whether it's the tank or the mod.

Cheers, Jim

Truthfully I would be equally suspecting the mod if the impact on the device was hard enough to split a coil. But I would do like AstroTurf suggested and go to a vape shop and try another topper if you do not have one readily available. If the other topper consistently ohms out fine then it is the topper rather than the device.
