Hello VU,
I got a new box mod, sxmini 60 watt.
I wanted to get a rebuildable tank for it and do not know where to start to look, vape stores aren't very helpful around here.

I make my own coils and stuff for RDA, so I want to have something that could hold a bit more juice without refilling every 4 hits.

My budget would be around 100 to 300 for the tank.
Thanks!

Hard to beat a Kanger sub tank. You can use their coil packs or the included rebuildable deck.

I have one. The rebuildable part does not fire on my device. It'll say 'check atomizer'. I'm using the replaceable coils, which I do NOT want to be using. I rather build my coils since I have so much kanthal and cotton.

Billow V2 is my all day vape. I run it at 55-60 and the clouds and flavor are perfect! Efun.top advertised the billow v2 for less than 25 bucks with free shipping just this week. Check it out.

Kayfun v4
Taifun GT II
Ubertoot (impossible to get and probably over your budget on the open market)
Kayfun Lite

All killer RTA's...

If you want a sub ohm Kayfun Lite esk type tank try the Monster V2 by 528 customs. It's a cloud machine that retains full Kayfun like flavor..

Also, some like the Rose but I didn't and some like the Squape but I didn't....

Is it a rebuildable?

Billow V2 is a good one. So is the Zephyrus. Also a rebuildable/dual coil. If you do go with the dual coil, expect to go through crazy amounts of juice. Especially if you're a "cloud person". The subtank mini is also a good one. Single coil and the easiest deck you could imagine to build on. I have all 3 and would recommend them all. Lots of good choices out there :)

Edit: Not to confuse you more..but the Lemo 2 is another great tank. Single coil like the Kanger. Lots of people complain about leaks but if you're an experienced builder, it shouldn't be a problem.

Hmm, billow sounds good, as I'm sitting on a few liters of VG, nicotine and flavors.
I love clouds and taste.
I'll probably still use my dripper at home, just at work is a pain to keep dripping.

Monster V2 all day then...

They were $150 but are now marked down to $100 direct from 528 Customs.

It's a killer atty for clouds and taste. I've had just about every RTA ever made and this one is pretty awesome..

Thank you! Just checked out some reviews and it seems like a great choice.
It's exactly what I was looking for.

It's a cloud producing, flavor packing beast! Love mine! Not many people know about it and It's a hidden gem in RTA land.. :D

I build mine about .5 and it never misses a beat! It's a heavily modified Kayfun Lite and 528 customs did not play around when making it...

I am sure you will dig it!

So I'm not too informed on what atomizer work with what mods.

This will be fine for a 50-60 watt device?
How about a dna 30 device?

Much appreciated

Yes and yes..

I use it on DNA 30's all the time and vape a .5 build at about 22W..

Ah cool!

I planned on keeping my dna30 as backup in case I forget the sxmini.

Thanks everyone.

Yeah it will work just fine on any mod for the most part.. The only exception might be a DNA 20 since you will want to build the Monster under an ohm.. .4, .5 or .6 works well..

Normal Kayfun's are generally built above an ohm but the Monster was made for clouds and flavor.. If you look at it, you will see 528 customs really went to town on it. Ginormous air holes, super wide juice channels and everything else was tricked out as well..

From their description:
  • The 510 pin is made out of copper and allows for any hybrid connection to work.
  • The massive air holes in the base act as cooling around the center pin and block.
  • Alows for sub ohm chain vaping without melting down the insulators
  • The center pin and block are one piece that is gold plated allowing less voltage drop and much more airflow due to the airhole size.
If you've ever built a Kayfun it's almost exactly the same with a few differences.

Some like to build the Kayfuns with small diameter coils and a thin layer of cotton. That won't work on the Monster because of it's massive juice channels. You need to build a larger diameter coil and use a bit more cotton. If you don't you might get flooding and gurgling. The juice channels on the Monster are ginormous..

When I build the Monster I generally do a 9 or 10 wrap with some anarchist 24g around a 3mm bit.. Wicks, great, vapes great..

Price is very high for it, but usually good stuff is.

I got a tugboat rda for fairly cheap, then got a clone. No more clones for me, it shattered when I dropped it. My OG tugboat has been dropped many times and has a few dents in it. But hits like a boss still.

I bought mine when they were $150.

$100 is not bad all things considered. A custom made high quality tank that comes with 3 different tank options, 2 different sized chimneys and a drip tip to boot... I don't usually like the bellcaps, but the one that comes with the Monster looks pretty sweet on it.

If you use the bellcap then you will use the shorter included chimney..
