Help me set up.

I have a minikin 1.5 and crown 2. When i use in power mode, the ohm is inconsistent it makes me feel uncomfortable. I would like to use it in temperature mode. As far as i know my coil is stainless steel. Can you guys help me set it up correctly please. How many watts and temperature? Also my mod has ss304 316 317 430.

those coils are 316 so the TCR would be 00092
It's normal for resistance to go up as the wires get hotter if it's not nichrome or kenthal. The higher the number the more resistance goes up. thats how TC works

The Crown II SS coils have kanthal leads, personally I think they perform much better in Power Mode.

i agree with vapin4joy, the crown coils do seem to prefer power mode over TC imho.

as a side note i think the herekles and its coils are a more satisfying vape, especially for a power mode vape.
The coils for the herekles will work in several other tanks. Im unsure if the crown is one of them.

You can swap the bases that are on the coils and they work great in one another.
The Herakles coil is 9 times better.
Maybe not mathematically 9 times but exaggerationally 9 times.
You know, that random number you just pick off the top of your head......

roger that, Ive been building since my 2nd week of vaping back when the Kayfun 3.1 first came out.
My girlfriend, who was a builder also, swears by the 0.4 herekles coil as the reason she stopped building. I finally tried them, after mocking her for a while. I couldn't accept that a prebuilt coil could have as good a flavor as some of my rtas and rdas.
I was wrong. I still build, because its fun for me. But, damnit if that damn coil in my silo beast doesnt make me ask myself why i spend hundred of dollars on tanks and drippers
